In addition, if bar code data management is crucial to the enterprise, we can manage, capture and report on all bar codes printed, applied, scanned or verified within the customer’s operation.
Here are some recent solutions that Printronix has provided to our customers:
- Bar Code Verification and Error Notification System for an Automated Conveyor System - This application utilizes an RJS online verifier, status light/buzzer tower and a custom controller box to notify the operator and stop the conveyor system if bar code quality is bad or if the bar code is missing.
- Bar Code Verification and Data Validation System for an Automated Flexible Cell Manufacturing System - This application ensures that data printed from a printer and data read from a verifier match by obtaining true data from the host or from an operator entry as part of the customer’s in-house validation process.
- Bar Code Verification and Diversion System for an Automated Conveyor System - This diversion system is a key element of the customer’s requirements to ensure that a pusher will divert the box for rework down a separate conveyor if bar code quality has not been met a given criteria, or if the bar code label location is not correct, or if the label is missing.
- Bar Code Verification System for a Print and Apply System - Printronix provided a complete print-and-apply solution by using our thermal printer in combination with our GPIO (General Purpose I/O), ODV, and RJS Online Verifier. We now offer the SLPA7000 Printer Applicator.
